Office for the Advancement of Telehealth

The Office for the Advancement of Telehealth (OAT) promotes telehealth as a way to deliver health care. OAT supports the Department of Health & Human Services’ telehealth efforts to expand access and improve health outcomes.

To improve access to quality health care through integrated telehealth services.

Vision

Telehealth access for all.

Goals

We work to:

  • Serve across HHS and coordinate with key federal partners to leverage telehealth to improve access, enhance outcomes, and support clinicians and patients
  • Promote the use of telehealth technologies for health care delivery, education, and health information services
  • Provide telehealth funding for direct services, research, and technical assistance
