Who can apply: This competition is open to current RWHAP Part D grant recipients and new, eligible applicant organizations proposing to provide RWHAP Part D family-centered care in outpatient or ambulatory care settings to low income WICY with HIV in the entire service area as described in Appendix B. As identified in section 2671 of the Public Health Service (PHS) Act, eligible applicants include public and nonprofit private entities (including a health facility operated by or pursuant to a contract with the Indian Health Service, and faith-based and Tribes/Tribal organizations) that provide family-centered care involving outpatient or ambulatory care (directly or through contracts or MOUs) for WICY with HIV. All applicants must meet the basic requirements of a RWHAP Part D Program as outlined in this NOFO and as established in section 2671 of the PHS Act. All applicants must demonstrate need based upon epidemiologic data. All applicants may only submit applications that address the entire RWHAP Part D geographic service area(s) for which they are applying to as published in Appendix B.

Dental Faculty Loan Repayment Program

Who can apply: Eligible entities are programs of general, pediatric, or public health dentistry in public or private nonprofit dental or dental hygiene schools, or approved residency or advanced education programs in the practice of general, pediatric, or public health dentistry. You must submit accreditation documentation for the relevant training program in Attachment 7, as identified in Section IV.5 of this NOFO. Current recipients of awards under the 2018 Dental Faculty Loan Repayment Program (HRSA-18-120) and the 2021 Dental Faculty Loan Repayment Program (HRSA-21-019) are not eligible to apply for this NOFO. Entities outside the United States and its territories are not eligible to apply for this NOFO.

Rural Public Health Workforce Training Network Program

Applicants should list the rural areas (counties) that will be served. Proposed counties should be fully rural, but if counties are partially rural counties, please include the rural census tract(s) in the Project Abstract. The applicant organization should also describe their experience and/or capacity serving rural populations in the Project Abstract section of the application. It is important that applicants list the rural counties (or rural census tract(s) if the county is partially rural) that will be served through their proposed project, as this will be one of the factors that will determine the applicant organization’s eligibility to apply for this funding.

Who can apply: This funding opportunity is open to accredited dental education institutions eligible to receive RWHAP Part F funding under section 2692(b)(1)(B) of the Public Health Service (PHS) Act. Applicants are limited to accredited dental schools and other accredited dental education programs, such as dental hygiene programs or those sponsored by a school of dentistry, a hospital, or a public or private institution that offers postdoctoral training in the specialties of dentistry, advanced education in general dentistry, or a dental general practice residency.
