Mission

To reduce disparities and improve health equity, especially for underserved and rural populations

What we do

  • Serve as principal advisor on health disparities, health equity, and minority and priority population health, to include rural populations
  • Provide technical assistance to our bureaus and offices, and external stakeholders
  • Increase the visibility of data and policies
  • Partner with other agencies and stakeholders to raise awareness for health disparities and health equity issues
