In July 2021, HRSA issued over $97 million in grant awards to over 1,970 eligible Rural Health Clinic Vaccine Confidence (RHCVC) Program applicants. The table below lists the number of funded RHCs and total awards in each state. Organizations that own and operate multiple RHCs submitted one application to receive funding for multiple RHCs. Organization-level grant awards are listed in the HRSA Find Grants tool.
All eligible Rural Health Clinics (RHCs) that applied received HRSA awards of approximately $49,500 per RHC site. RHCVC grant recipients are RHCs with a unique, active Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Certification Number (CCN) listed in either the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Provider of Service file, the CMS Survey & Certification's Quality, Certification and Oversight Reports (QCOR), or new RHCs that received and passed a CMS-approved certification or accreditation survey.

NOTE: Alaska, Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, and Rhode Island do not have CMS Certified Rural Health Clinics. HRSA received no applications from RHCs in Utah.
