In April, HRSA hosted state convenings of the Enhancing Maternal Health Initiative in Missouri and Georgia, announced $105 million in new Healthy Start awards to support more than 100 community-based organizations working to improve maternal and infant health, presented at the Black Maternal Health Outcomes Matter conference and celebrated Black Maternal Health Month, met with state officials to highlight HRSA's behavioral health investments, congratulated Associate Administrator Jim Macrae on receiving a Presidential Rank Award, announced a new policy action and first-ever health center funding to support transitions in care for people leaving incarceration, commemorated National Youth HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, and remembered Ryan White.
