About the Office of Legislation

What we do

• Serve as the HRSA legislative liaison with Congress, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and other federal agencies 
• Brief members of Congress and their staff on HRSA priorities and programs
• Monitor key legislative developments and analyzes legislation that may affect HRSA 
• Coordinate visits to HRSA/HRSA programs by members of Congress and their staff
• Manage technical assistance requests, correspondence, reports, and casework requests from members of Congress and their staff
