Delta Region Rural Health Workforce Training Program

Who can apply: Eligible applicants include domestic public, private, and non-profit organizations, including tribes and tribal organizations, faith-based and community-based organizations, and accredited domestic institutions of higher education including public or private non-profit educational entities, such as four-year colleges and universities, community colleges, technical colleges, vocational schools, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs), and Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs) located in one of the eight states in the DRA region. Eligible entities must be located in the DRA region. The DRA region includes 252 counties and parishes located across eight states - Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee. Applicants do not need to be located in a rural DRA region county or parish, but training must be provided to the rural counties and parishes listed in the Service Area Requirements section .

Regional Pediatric Pandemic Network

Who can apply: Eligible applicants include children's hospitals (centers) as defined by section 340E of the PHS Act (Public Law 106-129) or their affiliated university pediatric partners.21 You will demonstrate eligibility according to 340E of the PHS Act (Public Law 106-129). The primary recipient (center that is listed as the grantee of record on the Notice of Award) is one of the five Children’s hospitals or their affiliated university partners. While you, a single entity, must submit the application and accept legal responsibility for managing the project, you must propose to support a network of five (inclusive of your institution) children’s hospitals or their affiliated university pediatric partners that collectively meet the following geographic criteria: • At least one center in a state within both the Delta Regional Authority and Appalachian Regional Commission.22 • At least one such center at a pediatric hospital in each of HRSA's regions V and VII. 23 • At least one such center in HRSA region VIII or X.24 • At least one such center at a pediatric hospital that is a primary National Institutes of Health Clinical and Translational Science Award grantee or a partner that contributes to the budget request of an academic medical center's application at the time of this application. To confirm eligibility, you must include a letter from the institutional authorized organizational representative (AOR) / business official in the application that confirms they meet the criteria based on the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) grant and describes the relationship between their institution and the CTSA Hub. Include letters of commitment in and documentation of eligibility from the children’s hospitals or their affiliated university pediatric partners that are proposed members of the Network in Attachment 4 and complete Attachment 6, following the instructions provided in Section IV.2 Project Narrative, subsection vi Attachments. After receiving applications, HRSA will confirm that you meet all of these eligibility criteria prior to your application being submitted for review.
