Who can apply: Eligible applicants for the BHWD TAE are: Health professions schools, academic health centers, State or local governments, or other public or private nonprofit entities that provide services and training to health professions. A nationally recognized accrediting body, as specified by the U.S. Department of Education, must accredit applicants that are institutions of higher education. These applicants must submit their accreditation documentation as Attachment 4. Accredited health professions schools and academic health centers applicants are required to submit accreditation documentation. Those that fail to attach a copy of the required accreditation documentation as Attachment 4 will be considered non-responsive and will not be considered for funding under this announcement. Applicants are required to maintain their accreditation throughout the project period and notify HRSA of any change in status. Eligible entities must be located in the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, America Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, or the Republic of Palau. Domestic faith-based and community-based organizations, tribes, and tribal organizations are eligible to apply, if otherwise eligible.

Who can apply: For the purposes of this program, eligible applicants include: • State-licensed mental health nonprofit and for-profit organizations (see definition in Section VII). These organizations must be able to support programs for Level I pre-service, and Level II in-service, as applicable, training of peer support specialists and other behavioral health-related paraprofessionals. • For the purposes of this NOFO, these organizations may include academic institutions, including universities, community colleges, and technical schools. Native American tribal organizations may meet this definition if appropriately licensed by an applicable Tribal government or political subdivision. Note: Individuals are not eligible to apply under this NOFO. In addition to the 50 states, eligible entities include the District of Columbia, Guam, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau. Domestic faith-based and community-based organizations, tribes, and tribal organizations may also apply for these funds, if otherwise eligible. Current BHWET award recipients whose grants are scheduled to end on August 31, 2021 are eligible to apply for this funding opportunity. If funded, for-profit organizations are prohibited from earning profit from the federal award (45 CFR part 75.216(b)).

Who can apply: Eligible entities are programs of general, pediatric, or public health dentistry in public or private nonprofit dental or dental hygiene schools, or approved residency or advanced education programs in the practice of general, pediatric, or public health dentistry. You must submit accreditation documentation for the relevant training program in Attachment 5, as identified in Section IV.2.v of this NOFO. Current recipients of awards under the 2017 Dental Faculty Loan Repayment Program (HRSA-17-115) and the 2018 Dental Faculty Loan Repayment Program (HRSA-18-120) are not eligible to apply for this NOFO. Entities outside the United States and its territories are not eligible to apply for this NOFO.

Who can apply: Eligible applicants include accredited schools of nursing, nursing centers, nurse-managed health clinics, academic health centers, State or local health departments, HRSA-supported Health Centers, Rural Health Clinics, public or non-profit Hospitals, other emergency health care service providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers, Clinics receiving funding under Title X, and other similar public or private non-profit entities. Federally recognized Indian Tribal Government and Native American Organizations as well as community-based and faith-based non-profit organizations (under IRS 501(c)(3)) may apply if they are otherwise eligible. See Section III.1 of this notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for complete eligibility information.

Who can apply: •  Eligible applicants for the ISTP are: • A Teaching Health Center (as defined in PHS Act Section 749A(f)), or HRSA-21-087 6 • A Federally Qualified Health Center (as defined in section 1905(l)(2)(B) of the Social Security Act)14, or • A Community Mental Health Center (as defined in section 1861(ff)(3)(B) of the Social Security Act), or • A Rural Health Clinic (as defined in section 1861(aa) of the Social Security Act), or • A health center operated by the Indian Health Service, an Indian tribe, a tribal organization, or an urban Indian organization (as defined in section 4 of the Indian Health Care Improvement Act), or • An entity with a demonstrated record of success in providing training for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, health service psychologists, and/or social workers. For purposes of this NOFO, an entity with a demonstrated record of success in providing training for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, health service psychologists, and/or social workers is an existing accredited training program for one or more of the eligible disciplines that train practicing professionals.

Who can apply: Eligible entities for the PCTE-CPMH program are an accredited public or nonprofit private hospital, school of medicine or osteopathic medicine, academically affiliated physician assistant training program, or a public or private nonprofit entity which the Secretary has determined is capable of carrying out such a grant. Faith-based and community-based organizations are eligible to apply for these funds if otherwise eligible. Tribes and tribal organizations may apply for these funds, if otherwise eligible.

Who can apply: Eligible applicants are accredited schools of nursing with advanced education nursing programs. Any school(s) of nursing affiliated with this application must be accredited at the time of application – and for the duration of the award – by a recognized body or bodies, or a State agency, approved by the Secretary of Education for nurse education accreditation. Applicants must submit official documentation of accreditation in Attachment 1 for all affiliated nursing programs. Eligible applicants must be located in the United States, Guam, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Republic of the Marshall Islands, or the Republic of Palau. Tribes and Tribal organizations may apply for these funds, if otherwise eligible. Individuals and foreign entities are not eligible under this NOFO.
