What a grant does
It funds ideas and projects that serve the public. We give grants to educational and community groups. This helps them solve a need in their area.

Who we help
Our programs help children and parents. We also help people with low incomes and HIV, and people who are pregnant, live in rural areas, or received a transplant.

And we support the health care professionals and health centers who care for them.

Domestic faith-based and community-based organizations, Tribes, and tribal organizations are also eligible to apply. b) You must be one of the following (see Section 330(e)(1)(C) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 254b(e)(1)(C)): • An HCCN (see description above) or • A current Health Center Program award recipient, funded for at least the 2 consecutive preceding years, and applying on behalf of an HCCN. c) The HCCN must be at least majority controlled by Health Center Program (H80) award recipients (e.g., the majority of governing board members of the HCCN are employed by or otherwise representatives of Health Center Program (H80) award recipients) and, as applicable, at least majority owned by Health Center Program (H80) award recipients, as demonstrated by Attachment 9: Network Bylaws. If applicable, include a list of shareholders or other proof of majority ownership by Health Center Program Award Recipients in Attachment 13: Other Documents. d) The HCCN must have its own governing board, independent of the boards of its health center members, as demonstrated by Attachment 9: Network Bylaws.
