Your organization must be a private, non-profit entity or a public agency in the United States or its territories. Tribal and urban Indian organizations may apply
Find Grant Funding
Help us serve communities and people who need it most.
This includes people:
- With low incomes
- With HIV
- Who are pregnant
- Who live in rural areas and other communities in need
- Who received a transplant
Our programs also support the health workforce, health systems, and facilities. They provide care for these communities.
We do this by awarding grants to:
- States and territories
- Tribes
- Educational and community groups
What’s a grant?
A grant is federal money for ideas and projects that benefit the public.
Who can get a grant?
We award grants to organizations. These could be local or state governments. Our grants help them solve critical needs in their community.
What needs are critical?
A few examples:
- Expanding the health workforce
- Increasing access to affordable and quality health care
- More options for telehealth
- HIV medical care, medications, and support services
How do I get a grant?
Search for an open opportunity. If you’re eligible, prepare and then apply.
New Access Points
Who can apply:

Children’s Hospitals Graduate Medical Education (CHGME) Payment Program
Who can apply:
Freestanding children’s hospitals whose inpatients are predominantly under 18 years of age, who participate in an approved GME program, and who have a Medicare payment agreement.

Service Area Competition – Additional Area
Who can apply:
Your organization must be a private, non-profit entity or a public agency in the United States or its territories. Tribal and urban Indian organizations may apply.
Delta Region Maternal Care Coordination Program
Who can apply:
You can apply if your organization meets all three of the following criteria:
1. Your organization is in the United States and is:
• Public or private, non-profit or for-profit
2. Your organization meets the following geographic requirements:
• You are an organization physically located in the Delta Region
• You are an organization with demonstrated experience serving, or the capacity to serve, rural underserved populations located within the Delta Region; and
• Your organization proposes a project serving the rural Delta region.
Applicants will be deemed non-responsive and will not be considered for this funding opportunity if the applicant:
• Is located outside of the Delta Region;
• Submits an application to serve populations outside of HRSA designated rural counties or rural census tracts in the Delta Region, and
• Submits more than one application.

Who can apply:
You can apply if your organization is in the United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, or the Republic of Palau, and is:
• Public or private, non-profit or for-profit
• Community-based
• Native American tribal governments
• Native American tribal organizations
